Shipping & Payment
Parts ship from the yard where they're stored — our main yard in Lake Bluff or our yard in Bartlett, Illinois. The location is shown on every listing. Orders paid by 2 PM Central usually ship the next business day.
Parcel shipping
Smaller parts — ECMs, sensors, turbos, starters — ship by UPS, FedEx or USPS. Enter your address at checkout to see the rates and delivery times and pick the one you want. You'll get a tracking number by email when the part ships.
Freight (LTL) shipping
Engines, transmissions, axles, cabs and other large parts ship by LTL freight on a pallet. Freight prices depend on the destination, the freight class and the services you need, so we quote them by hand: you pay for the parts at checkout, and we email your shipping quote within one business day. Freight ships once the quote is paid.
Freight is delivered to businesses with a loading dock or a forklift. Residential delivery and liftgate service cost extra and need to be arranged in advance — call us.
When freight arrives, inspect it before you sign. Write any damage on the delivery receipt and take photos; otherwise the carrier won't accept a damage claim. Tell us about damage within 48 hours.

Pickup
You can pick up at both of our yards: Lake Bluff (our main yard) and Bartlett, Illinois. Each part is picked up at the yard where it is — shown on the listing, and next to the part in your cart and order. If your order has parts at both yards, each one is collected at its own yard.
Choose "Pick up" in your cart and there's no shipping charge. Bring your order number and a photo ID to the yard during business hours; addresses and hours are on our Contact page. We'll call when the part is ready and help you load it.
Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay and ACH bank transfer. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see your card number.
For large orders, ACH bank transfer is the cheapest way to pay. It takes 3–5 business days to clear; your parts are held for you meanwhile and ship when the payment clears.
Sales tax is calculated at payment: shipped parts are taxed at the delivery address, and pickups at the address of the yard you pick up from. An order that mixes shipped and picked-up parts is taxed at the delivery address.
When you continue to payment, your parts are reserved for you for 30 minutes so nobody else can buy them while you pay.
